JOEL Madden has grown up with ink in his veins. From as young as he can recall, Madden has loved reading the paper on a Sunday morning - and has fond memories of his dad “grumbling” over stories.
So when the star of The Voice was invited to join The Sunday Telegraph team as a guest editor of Insider he jumped at the chance. “I remember on Sunday mornings my dad drinking coffee and reading the paper,” Madden said.
“I always thought it was such a grown-up thing to do and it has definitely become something that I do. I love the idea of reading the newspaper on a Sunday morning because it is something I grew up with.
